Sad news.
Legendary anthropologist Jane Goodall has sadly died at the age of 91.
Her institution released the following statement:
Goodall spent 60 years studying chimpanzees, beginning her observations in Tanzania first in 1960.
In April of 2022, Jane was named a United Nations Messenger of Peace.
May she RIP.

You know it's going to be a big deal when THEE Rick Moranis comes out of retirement!!!
Mel Brooks announced a sequel to his iconic film 'Spaceballs' a few months back, and now we have an official full cast lineup as filming has kicked off!
The sequel to the 1987 classic film will see original stars Rick Moranis, Bill Pullman, Daphne Zuniga and George Wyner will all return as well as some new characters! This is Moranis' first film since 1997's 'Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves'.
Keke Palmer and Josh Gad join the cast!
99 year old Mel Brooks will be in the producers chair this time around, after directing and co-writing the original.
The film is slated for a 2027 release.

Stars of the classic WB series 'Dawson's Creek' reunited last night for a cancer benefit for leading man James Van Der Beek, who couldn't be their due to being sick.
Stars Michelle Williams, Joshua Jackson & Katie Holmes were joined by the rest of the cast Kerr Smith, Busy Phillips, Meredith Monroe, John Wesley Shipp, Mary-Margaret Humes, and Mary Beth Peil were all on hand for the special F Cancer benefit. Beek was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer last year.
Lin-Manuel Miranda stepped in to read the role of Dawson.
James sadly could not attend the benefit, but did surprise the crowd with a heartfelt video message. His wife and children also attended the special.
The way Katie stands there looking up at him at the beginning of the video made me ugly cry.
My heart goes out to James and his family.
Oh this is scary.
Last Friday, 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' production came to a halt when its leading man Tom Holland was injured on set.
While no word on exactly what happened, Holland was said to have suffered a mild concussion and thus filming will take some time before everyone returns to set.
No one else was injured during what was said to be one of the films many action scenes.
Holland is currently recuperating.

ABC/Disney announced today that Jimmy Kimmel will be returning to late night, as soon as tomorrow night, September 23rd!
The network withdrew the suspension following immense backlash, including Disney losing a massive amount of subscribers in the wake of it all.
And to the shock of no one, FCC chairman Brendan Carr is backtracking on why Kimmel was pulled in the first place, saying it was based on ratings dropping.
Will Kimmel go right back after Trump? Will he go after Carr?

ABC has announced that they are shelving Jimmy Kimmel's late night show 'indefinitely', following backlash regarding comments made about Charlie Kirk.
For context, this is what Jimmy said:
Nexstar, one of the biggest owners of TV stations across the US, made the call to pre-empt the late night show following the remarks.
Trump has already celebrated the shelving, calling on Jimmy Fallon and Seth Myers to be next.

Robert Redford, best known for 'The Sting', 'Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid' and 'The Way We Were' has sadly died at the age of 89.
He was surrounded by his family at his home in Utah.
Robert was an acclaimed actor as well as director, winning the Oscar for the classic 'Ordinary People'.
RIP Robert.

Daniel Craig is back as Benoit Blanc but this time he's joined by:

Long running soap opera 'Young and the Restless' has snatched up two daytime veterans and we couldn't be more excited!
Two time Daytime Emmy winner Tamara Braun will be joining other Daytime Emmy award winner Roger Howarth this fall!
Word on Roger's character is being kept under wraps, but source have confirmed that Tamara will be playing a brand new character by the name of Sienna Bacall.
Such a soapy name! HA!!
Those soap lover will of course recognize Braun from her previous daytime roles of Carly Corinthos on 'General Hospital', which she played from 2001-2005 before making a cameo as the character in 2014. She then went on to return to the soap as a new character Kim Nero from 2017-2019. She would then go on to play Ava Vitali on 'Days of Our Lives' on and off from 2008-2025. She had a short run on 'All My Children' as Reese Williams in 2008-2009.
Roger Howarth is beloved by the soap community as the long running 'One Life To Live' villain Todd Manning. He played the role on and off beginning in 1992 until 2013. He then went on to play Paul on 'As the World Turns' for 7 years. Finally, he played a total of 3 different characters during different stints on 'General Hospital'.
