Ryan Coogler's smash hit 'Sinners' has broken the record for most nominations for a film with a whopping 16 nominations!!!

Other notable moments in the nominations: 

'Wicked 2: For Good' was completely shut out, with Cynthia Erivo/Ariana Grande missing noms, as well as nothing for the mid categories.
