Britney Spears Arrested For DUI; Taken To Hospital Following Arrest

 Really hoping my girl gets the help she clearly needs. 

Early Wednesday morning, pop icon Britney Spears was arrested in California for suspicion of being under the influence. 

Spears was driving through Ventura County when she was pulled over by an officer. She was then handcuffed outside of her vehicle and taken into custody. She was then taken to a nearby hospital to check her blood alcohol levels. 

Her manager Cade Hudson released the following statement, calling Britney's actions "completely inexcusable" and noting that she will be getting the help she needs. Cade also said that she will be spending time with her boys during this time. 

She's due in court May 4th.
