Terrible news.
Oscar winning singer/songwriter Glen Hansard has sadly died at the age of 56, after a motorcycle crash in Dublin early this morning.
Glen died at the scene around 4:30am.
His management team released the following statement:
Hansard took home the Academy Award for the smash hit song 'Falling Slowly' from the movie 'Once' alongside Markéta Irglová back in 2008.
Hansard was also known for the BAFTA-winning comedy 'The Commitments'.
Our thoughts go out to his family and friends.
