I can't believe it's been 15 years, but her voice and legacy will have a lasting impact.
15 years ago today, the world said goodbye to Grammy award winning singer/songwriter Amy Winehouse.
Amy was only 27 years old when she sadly passed away. After having been sober for quite some time, she had spent a night binge drinking and her heart simply couldn't take it anymore. The coroner ruled her passing as "accidental death caused by a risk taken voluntarily".
She was one of the greatest vocalists of our time, and her legacy will live on. With her massive selling 'Back to Black', Amy would go on to win:
Grammys for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for 'Rehab', as well Pop Vocal Album of the Year for 'Back to Black'.
We miss you Amy.
